RTO after booking is not allowed. Any call-offs or additional RTO could possibly result in a cancellation. The unit is accepting contracts of 20 weeks or longer through February 27, 2027, to accommodate holiday staffing needs. The required patient ratios are 3:1 for non-critical patients, 2:1 for critical patients, and 5:1 for medical boarders in the Emergency Department. Shifts are 12 hours, from 18:45 to 07:15. There is no call requirement, and no floating is necessary. Every other weekend is required. The patient demographics include adult patients experiencing STEMI, stroke, and level 2 trauma. The facility experiences approximately 170 visits per day, with 53 rooms/beds available. The unit utilizes PYXIS and EPIC systems for patient care and documentation. Candidates must pass EKG testing prior to starting in this specialty. No block scheduling is permitted. Candidates should provide their interview availability when submitting. This role requires the completion of additional modules prior to the start date and annually. Candidates must be willing to float within or near the facility as needed. All requests for time off must be pre-approved, and specific holiday coverage will be required.
