Job Description:

- Deliver coordinated nursing care for patients, utilizing your critical thinking and professional discretion.
- Supervise and direct the activities of nursing staff while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.

Essential Functions:


- Collect relevant data pertaining to patient health or situation.
- Analyze assessment data to determine diagnosis and care issues.
- Develop and implement care plans aimed at attaining positive outcomes.
- Evaluate patient progress and adjust care plans accordingly.
- Collaborate closely with patients, families, and healthcare providers to ensure a safe and healing environment.
- Provide learning opportunities and health information to patients and families.
- Participate in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care.
- Delegate tasks appropriately and coordinate duties among healthcare team members.

Job Requirements:


- Education: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
- Experience: At least two years of recent experience in an acute care facility preferred.
- Licenses/Certifications:
- Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice required.
- Current BLS certification from an approved vendor.
- AHA-ACLS or ARC-ALS certification required.
- Fetal Heart Monitoring (FHM) certification required.
- AHA-NRP or ARC-NALS certification required.

Organizational Requirements:


- Commitment to safety and wellbeing with mandatory vaccinations for all associates.
- Participation in E-Verify program.
