Qualifications and Experience:

• Master’s or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
• Current state licensure (or eligibility) as a Physical Therapist
• Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric therapeutic environment preferred
• Ability to create and adapt individualized treatment plans
• Strong communication skills to collaborate with teachers, families, and other specialists
• Organizational excellence; adept at managing caseloads and documentation efficiently

Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments to determine students’ functional levels and identify areas for intervention
• Develop and implement treatment plans aimed at enhancing students’ mobility, coordination, and participation in academic programs
• Provide direct physical therapy services and monitor progress to support educational goals
• Train and advise staff, teachers, and parents on techniques that can be incorporated into daily routines
• Complete required documentation timely and accurately, maintaining compliance with school and regulatory standards
• Engage actively in team meetings and contribute to the Individualized Education Program (IEP) process
