Physical Therapist - School Setting in Burnsville, MN

Ideal Qualifications:

• Valid state licensure as a Physical Therapist
• Previous experience providing PT services in school settings or with pediatric populations preferred
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to develop and implement individualized therapy plans
• Collaborative spirit for working alongside teachers, staff, and parents

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct physical therapy assessments and develop individualized education programs (IEPs) for students
• Deliver direct and consultative PT services to help students access and progress in their educational environment
• Maintain accurate documentation of evaluations, treatment sessions, and student progress
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute thoughtful recommendations for student success
• Provide staff training and support on mobility, positioning, and accessibility accommodations as needed
• Adapt therapy activities to fit a variety of student needs and learning styles
