Fabrication Welder

Full-Time | $25–$28/hr.

A client of ours is looking forFabrication Welder to join a growing manufacturing team. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys building high-quality metal products, working from technical drawings, and taking pride in precision craftsmanship. If you have experience with welding, fabrication, and metalworking equipment, we'd like to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities

• Fabricate and assemble metal components using engineering drawings and work instructions
• Perform MIG and TIG welding on structural and sheet metal assemblies
• Cut, bend, fit, and prepare materials using fabrication equipment and machinery
• Verify dimensions and quality using precision measuring tools
• Assemble mechanical components and complete finishing work as required
• Maintain a safe, organized work area while following established safety standards
• Work closely with production teams to complete projects accurately and on schedule

Qualifications

• Previous experience in welding and metal fabrication within a manufacturing environment
• Proficiency with MIG and TIG welding processes
• Ability to read blueprints, fabrication drawings, and mechanical prints
• Experience operating fabrication equipment such as press brakes, plasma cutters, and related shop tools
• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
• Familiarity with ASME welding standards is beneficial
• Experience with sheet metal fabrication, machining, or industrial maintenance is a plus
• Forklift experience is helpful but not required
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
