The Fountain Group is currently seeking a 3D Printer Operator for a prominent client of ours. This position is located in Roselle, IL . Details for the position are as follows: Job Title: 3D Printer Operator Location: Roselle, IL Pay Rate: $22.50/hr Duration: 4 Months (Temp-to-Hire) Job Description Seeking an experienced 3D Printer Operator to operate, maintain, and optimize additive manufacturing equipment. Responsibilities include preparing print jobs, slicing STL files, maximizing printer capacity, performing preventive maintenance, inspecting printed components, and completing post-processing operations. The role also involves blueprint interpretation, dimensional verification, cost estimation for printed parts, and supporting additive manufacturing operations. Education Associate degree or equivalent work experience Required Skills 1–4 years of 3D printing or additive manufacturing experience STL file preparation and slicing using 3D printing software Experience with PrusaSlicer, Markforged Eiger, or similar slicing platforms Operation and maintenance of industrial 3D printers Nozzle replacement, hot‑end rebuilds, and printer troubleshooting Blueprint reading and mechanical schematic interpretation Dimensional inspection using calipers, micrometers, and tape measures Post-processing of printed parts including support removal, sanding, filing, and insert installation Mechanical assembly using drills, wrenches, and other hand tools Print quality optimization and printer capacity planning Cost estimation for additive manufacturing components Preferred Skills Experience supporting industrial equipment development or technical support Navision ERP experience SharePoint experience Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook proficiency Knowledge of 6S workplace organization practices #J-18808-Ljbffr The Fountain Group
