We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Litigation Legal Assistant to join our client’s team. In this role, you will provide essential administrative and legal support to a team of attorneys, ensuring smooth and efficient case management.

Responsibilities:

• Legal Document Support:
  • Draft, edit, and proofread legal documents, including correspondence, pleadings, discovery requests, motions, and briefs.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date case files, both electronic and physical.
  • Prepare documents for court filings at the State, Civil, and Federal levels, including e-filing.
  • Conduct legal research and assist with document review.
• Client Relations:
  • Assist with client intake and onboarding processes.
  • Respond to client inquiries promptly and professionally.
  • Assist with invoice preparation and review.
• Calendar & Logistics:
  • Manage attorney calendars, schedule meetings, and coordinate travel arrangements.
  • Assist with meeting logistics, including room reservations, catering, and technology setup.
• Administrative Support:
  • Answer phone calls, screen inquiries, and direct them appropriately.
  • Maintain accurate contact information for clients and other professionals.
  • Reconcile and submit attorney expenses.
  • Perform other administrative tasks as needed, such as time entry and credential maintenance.

Qualifications:

• 3-5+ years of experience as a Legal Assistant or in a similar role within a law firm.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Experience with legal databases, e-filing systems (like Westlaw, LexisNexis, and PACER), and document management software.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
