Certifications: BLS, CBSPD or HSPA

Must-Have:

• Strong critical thinking and communication skills
• Experience with sterilization equipment, including Getinge Autoclave, Amsco Autoclave, Steris V-Pro, and others
• Ability to work independently
• On-call availability required

Description: The Senior Sterile Processing Tech will primarily work independently. Strong critical thinking and communication skills are required for this position. The selected candidate will have a minimum of five years of experience, with three of those years in a lead position. This role may occasionally involve filling in as a shift lead. On-call shifts will be required. Variable availability is necessary, but the primary coverage will be during the night shifts listed. The candidate may be assigned to float between different units as needed. It is expected that the selected candidate will accommodate unit needs for weekend coverage. All experience requirements are strict; candidates without the necessary experience will not be considered. No first-time travelers will be accepted for this position. The candidate should be familiar with robotic systems and sterilization procedures. Additional duties include managing sterilization equipment and ensuring compliance with health standards. The role involves working with various surgical instruments and ensuring they are properly decontaminated and sterilized.
