Job description:
We are seeking an experienced SMT Equipment Technician to support the setup, maintenance, troubleshooting, adjustment, and repair of automated inspection and SMT equipment in a manufacturing environment.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with KohYoung, Saki, Vitrox, Dage X-Ray, Neptune Conformal Coating Inspection, Keyence , or similar automated inspection equipment. This position requires strong mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic troubleshooting skills, as well as the ability to work independently and resolve equipment issues with minimal supervision.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up, maintain, adjust, troubleshoot, and repair automated inspection and SMT equipment.
- Support KohYoung and Saki AOI systems and other automated inspection equipment.
- Operate and maintain Vitrox, Dage X-Ray, KohYoung Neptune, and Keyence inspection systems.
- Monitor equipment performance and ensure machines meet company standards.
- Troubleshoot and resolve electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic equipment issues.
- Perform preventative maintenance and equipment adjustments as needed.
- Assist with quality assurance activities and required documentation.
- Work closely and professionally with operators, technicians, supervisors, and managers.
- Identify and resolve equipment issues independently without constant supervision.
- Follow established procedures, safety guidelines, and company standards.
- Lift up to 100 lbs. as required.
Qualifications
- 2–4 years of Technician experience in a manufacturing, electronics, or related environment.
- Hands-on experience with SMT, AOI, X-Ray, or automated inspection equipment preferred.
- Working knowledge of KohYoung, Saki, Vitrox, Dage, and/or Keyence equipment strongly preferred.
- Experience with Siemens and Fuji SMT machines is a plus.
- Ability to troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic systems.
- Ability to lift up to 100 lbs.
