Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care for medically complex adults in the Med-Surg unit
- Assess, monitor, and respond to changes in patient status; administer medications per policy
- Document assessments, interventions, and patient progress in the electronic medical record
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team; participate in care planning and discharge education
- Maintain patient safety, infection control, and quality standards; may float to affiliated units as needed
- Communicate clearly with patients and families, delivering education and discharge instructions

Requirements
- Active NH or Compact RN license required at time of submission; NURSYS license verification
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications
- Minimum 1 year Med-Surg Acute Care experience as a traveler; 2+ years in Med-Surg overall
- Up-to-date resume showing travel experience; 2 recent Med-Surg assignments preferred
- EMR experience preferred: Cerner; not required
- RTO (time off) must be included at submission; ability to float to affiliated locations as needed
