Seven Healthcare are seeking a dedicated RN with a specialty in MedSurg/Tele for a travel assignment in Macon, Georgia. This role offers a dynamic work environment within a Level 1 Trauma Teaching Hospital, where you will provide care to a diverse patient population.

Key Responsibilities of the RN - MedSurg/Tele

• Provide care to patients with acute or chronic diseases and post-op surgeries
• Manage trach care and chest tube management
• Initiate and manage IV lines and central line care
• Perform cardiac monitoring and telemetry interpretation
• Coordinate care with interdisciplinary teams
• Lead discharge planning and patient education
• Engage in wound care and post-operative monitoring
• Administer insulin and heparin drips, ensuring accurate titration

Requirements of the RN - MedSurg/Tele

• BLS and Basic Cardiac Rhythm certification required
• ACLS preferred
• Minimum of 2 years Med-Surg nursing experience
• Expertise in IV insertion, glucomander, and telemetric equipment
• Capability to operate EMR systems, specifically EPIC
• Proficiency in using Alaris IV Pumps and Pyxis medication dispensing
