Quality Control InspectorThe Quality Control Inspector position inspects products for conformance to specifications.Essential ResponsibilitiesTo accomplish this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform, with or without reasonable accommodation, each essential function satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodation may be made to help enable qualified individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.Assist the Quality Control Team in performing inspections.Report any non-conformance found during the inspection to QC Supervisor.Perform 100% inspection/rework as needed.Maintain a clean and organized work area.Perform other duties as assigned by QC Supervisor or Quality Manager.Knowledge/Skills/AbilitiesQuality Control Experience preferred.Bilingual – Spanish & English.Ability to read and write English.Strong basic math skills.Detail oriented.Ability to manage multiple priorities.Excellent interpersonal skills.Team player.Technical ability.Organizational skills.Time Management.Position QualificationsRequired Education and Experience:High school diploma or general education degree (GED).3 year of related experience and/or training.Or equivalent combination of education and experience.Physical DemandsThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.The employee is occasionally required to sit; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.Work EnvironmentWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration.
