We take work very seriously, but we also enjoy a great atmosphere of fun and professional development, and we are committed to promoting a rich environment for each other to thrive through collaboration and empowerment.ResponsibilitiesAs a member of our team, your role of Caregiver/Direct Care will involve supervising and directly training patients with brain injuries in Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) and therapeutic home programs. You'll be working in a beautiful residential apartment/home-like setting, offering skilled instruction and supervision to patients. Additionally, you'll have the opportunity to engage in social, recreational, shopping, and entertainment activities in community settings.Your key responsibilities will include:Teach, monitor, administer and document individual patient programs including ADL's and therapeutic home programs in English.Perform bed, bath, toilet, and chair transfers (up to 20 times per shift) using approved transfer techniques.Ensure for the safety of patients, visitors, staff, and yourself when interacting with patients who may have behavioral outbursts, which can include yelling, exiting, hitting, kicking, biting, scratching, and throwing objects.Available Shifts: PRNQualificationsExperience and EducationEducational Background: Must be 18 years of age with a high school diploma or GED.
