Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking 3 dedicated School Psychologists to support students in the Spokane, WA area. This is an excellent opportunity to make a meaningful impact by providing psychological services, conducting evaluations, and collaborating with educational teams to help students achieve academic and personal success.

Position Details

• Location: Spokane, WA

• Position: School Psychologist

• Openings: 3

• Schedule: 37.5 Hours per Week

• Contract Length: 36 Weeks

• Start Date: September 14, 2026

• Client Interview Required: Yes

Pay Information

• Local Pay: $60.00/hour

• Travel Package Available: Up to $2,834/week

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct student assessments and psychological evaluations

• Participate in IEP, eligibility, and multidisciplinary team meetings

• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student success

• Provide academic, behavioral, and social-emotional recommendations and interventions

• Assist with behavior support plans and crisis intervention

• Monitor student progress and maintain required documentation

• Ensure compliance with special education regulations and district policies

Minimum Requirements

• Current state licensure/certification as required

• Master's Degree in Psychology preferred

• Experience working with pediatric and adolescent populations preferred

• Compliance with professional standards of practice

• Current CPR certification, if applicable

• TB screening and health documentation, if required

• Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age

The School Psychologist works to support students through a variety of mental health and developmental issues and aids in qualifying students for additional support services. The School Psychologist is responsible for providing on-site psychological services to students under the jurisdiction of the state and district.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must maintain current State licensures and/or certifications in state of assignment

• Experience in pediatric and adolescent population is preferred

• Master's degree in psychology preferred

• Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice

• Current CPR if applicable

• TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable

• Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)

• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age
