Unit Specifics:

• Number of Beds : 29
• Patient Ratios : 1:4 ideally, currently running 1:5
• Unit staffing description- (unit secretaries and tech availability) : UC and PCT
• Type of equipment : Alaris IV pumps, Welch Allyn VS machines, bladder scan, vein finder.
• Documentation system: Meditech
• Scheduling requirements: 36 hours per week
• Floating policy: All staff float to areas of their competencies
• Patient Experience requirements: Must provide safe, high quality and compassionate care

• VS every 4 hours (may be more frequent based on patient condition)

• Required documentation/assessment every shift
