A/R and A/P Accountant - Keshena, WI

Job Description AR/AP Accountant Key Responsibilities Accounts Receivable Process customer invoices and record transactions accurately. Manage and follow up on overdue accounts to ensure timely collections. Reconcile customer accounts and handle discrepancies. Prepare and maintain aging reports. Accounts Payable Process and approve vendor invoices for payment. Ensure all payments are made in a timely manner to maintain good vendor relations. Reconcile supplier statements and handle discrepancies. Maintain accurate records of expenses and liabilities. General Accounting Assist in month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes. Prepare journal entries and assist in financial reporting. Participate in internal audits and ensure compliance with accounting standards. Support in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis. Compliance and Reporting Ensure all financial transactions comply with local, state, and federal regulations. Prepare financial statements and reports as required. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. 2+ years of experience in accounting, with a focus on AR and AP. Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle). Understanding of GAAP and other relevant accounting standards. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. #J-18808-Ljbffr
