• 36 hours per week, 12-hour shifts, 1900-0730; 6-week self-scheduling

• Every third weekend rotation, 50% Holiday rotation

Where You Will Work:

The Medical/Respiratory ICU at Aurora St. Luke’s Medical Center is a 24-bed adult intensive care unit caring for a high-acuity, critically ill patient population. Nurses work alongside a multidisciplinary team that include Intensivists, Respiratory therapists, Pharmacists, consultative specialists, care management, and rehabilitation services. Ongoing support and education are available to help advance nursing practice through opportunities such as the Critical Care Academy, preceptorship, hands-on training, certification support for CCRN, ACLS, NIHSS, CRRT, and continuous learning. MRICU is well known for having a highly engaged nursing team due to dedicated staff, exceptional leadership and a team desire to support nursing collaboration to build and strengthen the core critical care skills needed to care for complex patients. Candidates should have at least one year of adult inpatient acute care experience.

We’re Looking For:

• Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing

• Candidates must have at least 1 year of RN experience

• Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices

• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association

What You’ll Do:

• As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.

• Using evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skills communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.
