Cavender Toyota, a Cavender Auto Family dealership, is currently seeking a results-driven KBB Instant Cash Offer (ICO) Buyer to join our team. This role is focused exclusively on acquiring quality pre-owned inventory through Kelley Blue Book Instant Cash Offer (ICO) leads.

The ideal candidate is confident communicating with customers, understands vehicle values, is highly responsive, and is motivated by achieving measurable results.

Position Purpose

Responsible for acquiring inventory exclusively through KBB Instant Cash Offer (ICO) leads while maximizing vehicle acquisition volume, quality, and profitability.

Key Responsibilities

• Respond promptly to all KBB ICO leads and engage customers throughout the vehicle acquisition process.
• Contact customers to discuss their vehicle, answer questions, and schedule appraisal appointments.
• Evaluate potential vehicle purchases while considering condition, market value, and dealership profitability.
• Build strong relationships with customers and provide a professional, transparent purchasing experience.
• Conduct consistent and timely follow-up with customers who have expressed interest in selling their vehicle.
• Work closely with the dealership team to coordinate appraisals and vehicle purchases.
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of all customer interactions and lead activity in the CRM.
• Follow all Cavender appraisal, purchasing, and acquisition guidelines.
• Monitor individual performance and work toward established monthly acquisition goals.

Performance Standards

• Respond to all ICO leads within 5 minutes during business hours.
• Make at least three contact attempts on every lead within 48 hours.
• Maintain at least a 70% appointment show rate.
• Purchase a minimum of 25 vehicles per month.
• Maintain strong appointment-to-purchase closing performance.
• Accurately document all customer interactions, follow-up activity, appointments, appraisals, and outcomes in the CRM.
• Consistently follow Cavender's vehicle acquisition and appraisal procedures.

Qualifications

• Automotive sales, appraisal, purchasing, or vehicle acquisition experience preferred.
• Strong understanding of vehicle values and the used-car market.
• Excellent communication, customer service, and negotiation skills.
• Strong follow-up and organizational skills.
• Comfortable working with performance metrics and monthly goals.
• Ability to quickly build trust and rapport with customers.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Self-motivated and results oriented.
• Comfortable using CRM systems and computer applications.
• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
