Collaborates with team members to coordinate unit activities and flow of information between teams and other entities. Required qualifications: Coursework/Training: Completion of a Medical Terminology course within 90 days of hire. Preferred qualifications: Coursework/Training: Pharmacology. Coursework/Training: Satisfactory completion of Health Unit Coordinator training. Upon hire: Certification by the National Association of Health Unit Coordinators. 6 Months Experience in health care activities or institutional setting.
