Genetic Counselor

Dept of Genetic-Genomic Med The Genetic Counselor will: Performs routine counseling and analysis for genetics patients. Assumes responsibility for procedural and systems controls. Provides Physicians with accurate and reliable analytical results necessary for the diagnosis and treatment of patients. Participates in educational and research projects/studies as needed. Requirements Board eligible or board certified in Genetic Counseling with a Master's Degree in Genetic Counseling from an accredited program. Must achieve board certification within one year of eligibility. New Jersey licensure within 4 months of employment and must maintain certification through the re-certification process and licensure while employed. Salary Range: 72,592.00 - 119,766.00 USD We offer competitive base rates that are determined by many factors, including job-related work experience, internal equity, and industry-specific market data. In addition to base salary, some positions may be eligible for clinical certification pay and shift differentials. The salary range listed for exempt positions reflects full-time compensation and will be prorated based on employment status.
