Controller

We are looking for a Controller to work for our client. The ideal candidate aligns with the responsibilities and qualifications outlined below. This is a great opportunity for an experienced accounting leader to oversee the full accounting function and play a key role in financial decision-making, in a hybrid role based in Cleveland, OH. Responsibilities Oversee all accounting operations, including general ledger, month-end and year-end close Ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial statements in accordance with GAAP Manage the annual audit process and serve as primary liaison with external auditors Develop, implement, and maintain strong internal controls across the accounting function Oversee cash management, banking relationships, and treasury-related activities Partner with leadership on budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning Manage and develop a team of accounting professionals Ensure compliance with tax filings and regulatory reporting requirements Evaluate and improve accounting systems, processes, and reporting tools Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required; CPA strongly preferred 6+ years of progressive accounting experience, including prior leadership experience Strong knowledge of GAAP, internal controls, and audit processes Experience managing and developing accounting teams Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills Ability to work effectively with executive leadership and cross-functional teams What Our Client Offers Competitive salary with annual performance-based bonus Hybrid work schedule based in Cleveland, OH High level of visibility with company leadership Generous paid time off and company-observed holidays Supportive, team-oriented culture with room for advancement #J-18808-Ljbffr
