It is a vital operational system that enables the U.S. president, the Secretary of Defense, and combatant commanders at strategic, regional, and operational levels to plan ballistic missile defense operations systematically, collectively monitor the battle, and dynamically control networked sensors and weapon systems to achieve global and regional mission goals. C2BMC supports layered missile defense capabilities that enable an optimized response to threats across all ranges and flight phases. It serves as a force multiplier by networking, integrating, and synchronizing autonomous sensor and weapon systems and operations, both globally and regionally, to improve performance. C2BMC is essential for all ground and flight tests that verify and demonstrate the current and future capabilities of missile defense systems.Candidate will serve in a C2BMC Regional Modeling and Simulation support role, aligned with Agile processes as specified by the program. Candidate will act as a moderator and facilitator, helping the M&S Scrum teams work more efficiently, remove obstacles, and enable continuous improvement, empowering the teams to self-organize.Essential Functions:Facilitate all Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectivesEngage product teams in the principles of self-organization, Agile mindset, and continuous improvementPartner with Product Owners to scope, prioritize, and plan current and future workIdentify, track, and remove impediments that block team progressMaintain backlog hygiene and ensure that user stories are well-defined and sprint-readyCapture, organize, and curate M&S process documentation, customer presentations, internal meeting minutes, etc.Monitor team health, velocity, and delivery metrics, and report to managementServe as a resource on Agile techniques, including User Stories, Continuous Integration, Continuous Testing, and Automated TestingPerform Data Science and numerical analysis activities where applicable to remove team impediments and increase the likelihood of task completionBasic Qualifications:Please list your current security clearance and IAT or relevant certifications on your resume, if applicable.A Bachelor’s Degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, Scrum Master, or a related discipline from an accredited university, along with 5 years of experience; or a Master’s degree in a related field with 3 years of relevant work experience; or 9 years of relevant work experience may be considered as an alternative to a degreeApplicants must have a current, active in-scope DoD-issued Secret security clearance at the time of application, which is required to startProcess, domain, and programmatic knowledge specific to C2BMCScrum Agile training as approved by C2BMC program leadershipSurface understanding of M&SRadar modeling, C2 federated model, scenario development, and analytics processes experienceExperience using Jira or other Agile management tools, along with MS Office and TeamsUnderstanding of the hardware and software platforms that constitute the M&S high-side engineering environmentExperience with development and engineering software packages used in M&S development environments is recommendedExperience working as a Scrum Master as part of the SW Development Scrum teamExperience in decomposing (or assisting in decomposing) Agile features to user stories with clear acceptance criteriaPreferred Qualifications:Agile certifications include Certified Scrum Master (CSM), Certified Scrum Professional (CSP), Agile Certified Professional (PMI-ACP), SAFe Scrum Master (SSM), and Professional Scrum Master (PSM).Experience working within a Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) environmentProficiency in Agile Coaching is a highly valued skillUnderstanding of Systems Engineering, SW Development, and Verification cycles would be beneficialWhat We Can Offer You:Northrop Grumman provides a comprehensive benefits package and a supportive work environment that encourages your growth, benefiting both employees and the company. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results.
