Job Description Job Description Shift Leader Position Overview We are looking for a dependable, hands-on Shift Leader who enjoys working with people and can help keep the restaurant running smoothly. This position is ideal for someone with restaurant experience who is ready to take on more leadership responsibility and support the management team. The Shift Leader will help oversee daily operations during assigned shifts, lead team members, provide great customer service, and make sure food quality, cleanliness, and operational standards are being followed. Key Responsibilities Lead and support team members throughout the shift Ensure guests receive friendly, fast, and accurate service Assign positions and keep the team organized during busy periods Coach and train employees on procedures and expectations Monitor food quality, food safety, cleanliness, and restaurant standards Assist with opening and closing responsibilities Handle customer concerns and resolve issues professionally Assist with cash handling and register procedures Help maintain proper staffing and communicate issues to management Support inventory, product preparation, and waste control Keep the restaurant clean, organized, and ready for business Lead by example and help create a positive work environment What We’re Looking For Previous restaurant or food-service experience preferred Leadership or Shift Leader experience is a plus Strong customer service skills Dependable and comfortable taking responsibility for a shift Able to work in a fast-paced restaurant environment Good communication and problem-solving skills Comfortable coaching and directing team members Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed Able to stand for extended periods and perform normal restaurant duties Fully Bilingual in Spanish The Right Fit We’re looking for someone who is willing to jump in wherever needed.
