We are a Minnesota based family-owned business with a shop in Scanlon and have an opening for an experienced Diesel Technician in our Truck Shop. We are looking for someone who is detail oriented, has mechanical aptitude, and a strong work ethic. CDL preferred.

SCHEDULE:

2nd Shift, Monday-Friday, 3pm- 11:30pm

PAY RANGE:

$35- $40+/hr (open to discussion- varies based on skillset and experience)

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

• Performs repair on diesel trucks
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, disassemble vehicles and examine parts for defects and excessive wear
• Corrects vehicle deficiencies by removing, repairing, adjusting, overhauling, assembling, disassembling, and replacing major assemblies, sub-assemblies, components, parts, or systems, such as, power and drive trains, electrical, air conditioning, fuel, emission, brake, steering, hydraulics; completes machine shop operations; making adjustments and alignments including bearing loads, gear tooth contact, valve mechanisms, governors, oil systems, control linkages, clutches, and traction units
• Inspect the overall condition of Truck to ensure that they meet U.S. Department of Transportation's safety requirements
• Compile inspection reports detailing their findings
• Track all parts and materials used in repairs or replacements
• Ensure the final work product meets quality standards
• Maintain a safe and clean work area for customers and co-workers

Requirements:

Our Clearwater location offers complete truck and trailer service and towing. Blaine Brothers TRUCKALINE offers complete frame, suspension and alignment services.
