Join Our Team – First-Party Property Coverage Attorney (Chicago)

Butler Weihmuller Katz Craig LLP – a nationally recognized, AV-rated civil litigation firm – is seeking a talented attorney to join our Chicago office in our First-Party Property Coverage practice group. This dynamic team handles complex first-party property matters at all stages, including pre-suit coverage analysis and litigation.

We offer a competitive compensation package and robust benefits. Base salary plus non-discretionary bonuses available.

Butler offers a flexible hybrid schedule, combining remote and in-office work.

Firm Overview:

With over four decades of experience and eight offices across the country, Butler is home to approximately 140 attorneys. Ideal candidates will possess:

A minimum of four years of insurance coverage experience who is eager to grow in a collaborative and fast-paced legal environment.
Exceptional writing analytical and oral advocacy skills
Strong time management and communication abilities
A detail-oriented mindset
A collaborative, team-first attitude
The ability to manage multiple projects and respond to urgent matters effectively
Experience handling first-party property coverage disputes, including, but not limited to, policy analysis, EUO’s, depositions, drafting of pleadings and motions, mediations
