About the Role
The Company is seeking a Senior Vice President for University Communications and Marketing to serve as its chief brand strategist and reputation architect. This pivotal role involves developing and executing a unified communications and marketing strategy to enhance the institution's national standing and impact. The successful candidate will be responsible for shaping and amplifying the university's narrative, both locally and globally, and will work closely with the president, cabinet, and various leaders to align messaging and strengthen institutional identity. The role also includes leading the evolution of a cohesive university identity, modernizing and integrating communications, and fostering a sense of pride and connection among the university's extensive alumni and community. Candidates for the Senior Vice President position should be exceptional communicators and storytellers, with a strategic vision and operational excellence. The role requires a leader with strong political and organizational acumen, experience in managing reputation in complex settings, and a data-informed, digitally fluent approach.
