Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Project Manager role based in Wilmington, DE. The Project Manager will lead projects from initiation through completion, overseeing planning, scheduling, resource allocation, and risk management to ensure deliverables meet quality, cost, and timeline expectations. Day-to-day tasks include coordinating internal and external stakeholders, tracking progress, managing project documentation, and facilitating meetings to resolve issues and maintain alignment. The role involves working closely with expediting and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery of materials and services, as well as collaborating with inspection personnel to verify compliance with project specifications. The Project Manager will also analyze project performance, prepare status reports for leadership, and recommend improvements to processes and workflows.
Qualifications
- Strong project management skills with experience in planning, scheduling, and coordinating cross-functional teams.
- Expeditor and expediting experience to ensure timely movement of materials, information, and deliverables.
- Inspection-related skills, including coordinating quality checks and verifying adherence to standards and specifications.
- Logistics management capabilities, including organizing shipments, managing inventory timelines, and coordinating with vendors.
- Relevant experience in operations, construction, manufacturing, or similar project-based environments.
- Proficiency in project management tools and productivity software (e.g., MS Project, Excel, collaboration platforms).sh
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills with the ability to present clear status updates.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail and a focus on meeting deadlines.
- Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, operations management, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Ability to commute on-site Wilmington, DE and collaborate effectively in a team-oriented environment.
