Occupational Therapist AssistantProvides quality physical therapy services to most diagnoses, including evaluation, intervention and education, program planning and implementation, discharge planning, related documentation, and communication. Associate degree from accredited Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant program. License to practice as a Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant in the State of Tennessee. May be exposed to human waste and body fluids, and infectious diseases. Under the direction and supervision of the patient's therapist of record, the assistant provides competent and age-specific services, selected assessment, program implementation, discharge planning, and related documentation and communication. Requires routine supervision with the therapist of record within easy communication.
