Radiology - Echo / Cardiac Sonographer

Adult Echo Technician

Location: Asheville, NC

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: Day shifts: 7:00 AM - 4:30 PM, typically 8-10 hours long.

Job Description: We are seeking a skilled Adult Echo Technician to join our Echocardiography department. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures including 2D/3D and strain echocardiograms, as well as stress echocardiograms utilizing treadmill exercise protocols.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct echocardiography procedures as ordered by physicians.
• Document and maintain accurate patient records in the EMR system.
• Utilize advanced echocardiographic technology, including Philips Epiq and IE33 systems.
• Work collaboratively with a team of echo technicians in a fast-paced environment.
• Ensure patient comfort and safety during procedures.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Certification in Cardiovascular Imaging (CCI) or American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
