Paraprofessional (School-Based) – Dover, NH

Location: Dover, New Hampshire
Position Type: Full-Time, School Year Assignment
Assignment Dates: September 2026 – June 2027

Job Overview

We are seeking four dedicated Paraprofessionals to support students at a high school in Dover, NH. These positions include a mix of 1:1 student support roles and classroom-based support assignments. Candidates should be passionate about helping students succeed academically, socially, and emotionally in a school environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct support to students in classroom and school settings
• Assist teachers with implementing instructional activities and classroom management strategies
• Support students with academic, behavioral, and social-emotional needs
• Foster a positive, safe, and inclusive learning environment
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and support staff
• Maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times
• Follow individualized student support plans as directed by school personnel

Qualifications

• Previous experience working in a school setting is required
• High school diploma required (proof of diploma must be provided)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively with students, staff, and families
• Reliable, compassionate, and team-oriented approach

Schedule
Approximately 32.5 hours per week
Monday through Friday
School-day schedule with a daily unpaid lunch break
