IT Systems Analyst

IT Systems AnalystLocation: Raleigh, NC (Onsite)Client is seeking a senior IT Systems Analyst to perform analytical and technical work related to enhancements and operations of the Managed Care Transformation. This position will need to work with multiple vendors, division staff and other stakeholders to understand the requirements and providing technical support/guidance. This position involves the ability to research and analyze complex healthcare data from a variety of sources to evaluate, define, design, and implement technical solutions based on the Federal and State Medicaid requirements. This position is responsible for the design and development of the interfaces across Medicaid internal and external. In addition, this position is responsible for creating and delivering reports and metrics using various SAS Business Intelligence tools utilizing data and information from NC Analytics Data warehouse. This position will also need to work with SQL queries to analyze data and create ad-hoc reports to support Business needs and requests. This involves validating input files and formats as per the data mapping artifacts, architecting output datasets, and validating data based on the requirements, quality assurance of data. This position prefers experience working with Single Sign On applications and knowledge of State’s NCID system for login.Skills:Excellent written and oral communication and ability to facilitate small to large meetings RequiredManaging and Working with Multiple Vendors. RequiredHands-on experience in different file transfer methodologies and different file types and layouts such as csv, txt, XML, etc.Proven experience delivering Business Intelligence solutionsKnowledge of Agile MethodologyAbility to communicate effectively and be able to work independently with minimal supervision.Experience working with multiple vendors – Required.Should have the capability to translate business requirements into technical solutions – Required 5 YearsProject Management Experience – Required 5 YearsStrong understanding of healthcare claims processing - Claims, Provider, Eligibility, Members – Required 5 YearsWorking knowledge of Medicaid and/or MMIS – Highly desiredProven experience delivering Business Intelligence solutions – Required.Demonstrated proficiency working with databases - Oracle (11), MS SQL Server etc. DB2 – Required 5 YearsExperience developing SQL queries – Required 5 YearsSAS programming knowledge in SAS tools (Base SAS 9.4, SAS Macro, SAS BI Suite, Data Integration studio, Enterprise guide, etc.) – DesiredProven experience delivering Business Intelligence solutions – Required.Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability present to both technical and business audiences.
