Location: Springfield, Ohio

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM with floor call/beeper coverage 3:00 PM – 7:00 AM. Saturday and Sunday 24-hour onsite support with floor call or OR call. Ongoing coverage needed 1-2 weeks per month through 2027.

• Inpatient-focused position managing 20-26 adult and geriatric patients daily
• Comprehensive case mix including post-operative care, emergency surgery, consults from ED and Cath Lab, and surgical assistance
• Advanced procedural responsibilities including vein harvesting and vascular tissue retrieval during heart surgery
• Epic EMR platform with potential supervisory/teaching opportunities
• Travel reimbursements included: airfare, lodging, rental car, and mileage at IRS rate

Requirements:

• Board Certified in Vascular Surgery (required)
• Active Ohio PA license (must be active; will not accept pending applications)
• Active ACLS certification (required)
• Active DEA registration (required)
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Cardiothoracic and Vascular Surgery services (required)
• Clean background with no malpractice or licensing issues (no exceptions)
• Credentialing timeframe: 90-120 days; temporary privileges potentially available within one week with quick submission and clean file
