About the Position

Job Title: Mammography Tech Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: Mammography Tech Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day 4x10-Hour Hours per Shift: 08:00 - 17:30 Experience: Minimum 1 year required License: Must possess a valid state license Certifications: ARRT R, BLS, Mammography-ARRT Must-Have: Familiarity with Hologic equipment Description: REDUCED Non-Billable Orientation Job - 0 Hours NBO vs. Standard 40 NBO. 1st Timer - Mammography Tech - Req 10715. Floating between units is not required. On-call and weekend work is not required. Candidate must be familiar with biopsy procedures, though experience is preferred but not required. Staffing ratio is expected to be 1:1. The facility is a Short Term Acute Care with a total of 418 staffed beds. Scrub color is flexible; any color is acceptable. Charting system used is Epic. Patient care focuses on adults and geriatrics. Unit includes breast biopsies and localizations among special procedures. Special equipment includes Trident and Hologic. Travelers may be expected to float between sister facilities when required by the assignment. Candidates should not reach out to facility contacts directly unless for an agreed-upon interview communicated by management. Two references covering one year of experience within the last three years are required. All scheduling requests must be made upfront during submission. Inflexibility beyond the contracted schedule may lead to termination of the assignment. Travelers' refusal to float may result in the forfeiture of guaranteed hours. Providers will need to manage communication devices as required for the assignment. Completion of modules prior to the start date is necessary, along with annual updates. Time spent on modules is self-reported.
