MES Data Entry Clerk

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly detail-oriented and organized Data Entry Clerk to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurately inputting, updating, and maintaining information in our systems and databases. This role is critical to ensure the integrity and accuracy of our data.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately enter data into company databases and systems from source documents within time limits
• Verify data by comparing it to source documents for accuracy and completeness
• Update existing data and retrieve information from the database as requested
• Maintain confidentiality and ensure security of all records and information
• Perform regular backups to ensure data preservation
• Respond to requests for information and access relevant files
• Generate reports, store completed work in designated locations, and perform routine clerical tasks
• Work closely with team members and supervisors to meet departmental goals and deadlines

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional computer training or certification is a plus
• Proven experience as a Data Entry Clerk or similar position preferred
• Excellent typing speed and accuracy
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and data entry software
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to handle confidential information
• Good command of English, both written and verbal
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
• May require occasional lifting of files or storage boxes (up to 25 lbs)
• Working in a shop environment to retrieve data, PPE requirements
• Ability to work nights, weekends as needed

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour
