Join our Team!Our Legal Account Resolution Specialists work in a call center environment within our professional law office setting. They are responsible for making outbound calls and taking inbound calls. They notify and/or locate consumers with delinquent accounts and attempt to secure payments. All consumers of our clients are in the post-lawsuit, legal stage of collections; managing files throughout the legal process is an important responsibility in this role. Schedule:8:00am - 4:45pm, Monday through Friday set scheduleNo weekends or eveningsResponsibilities/Duties/Functions/Tasks:Requests form letters to consumers or representatives to notify and encourage payment of delinquent accountsConfers with consumers or representatives by telephone in attempt to determine reason for overdue payment and make an attempt for payment resolutionCalculates payment arrangements and negotiates settlements which may require supervisor/client approvalDocuments information about financial status of consumers and status of collection efforts and performs data entry to update notes on accountContacts consumers, consumers' representatives and attorneys to provide status updates and request/supply additional information and documentation. May also contact courtsObtains information to handle debit and check payments by phoneSearches internet, public records, city and telephone directories, credit bureau reports, vendor searches and contacts employer and post office to locate consumer and/or consumer assetsMakes decision for next activity on consumer files and monitors legal case filing for expected outcomesFollow-up to ensure all available options are utilized to achieve payment of debtMeets minimum standards for daily calls, files worked and goalsHandles files in accordance with company and client standards, follows scripts and regulatory compliance requirementsApproaches contact with consumers and third parties with a high level of professionalism/customer service on a recorded and monitored phone lineComplete all required training applicable to this positionRegular and predictable attendance is an essential function of this positionOther duties, as assignedQualifications:High school diploma or general education degree (GED)1-3 years of relevant call center experienceKnowledge of basic computer operation, including internet researchCommunicates effectively verbally and in writingMust be able to pass a detailed background check and drug screenCompensation and Benefits:The expected compensation is $20.33-24.78/hr., plus uncapped monthly bonus opportunities, with an average annual bonus potential up to $26,000 or more (based upon 1 year of service)Employees proficient in Spanish may receive additional compensationPaid Time Off (PTO) - 16 days annually + 9 Company paid holidaysCompetitive benefits - Medical, Rx, Dental, Vision, 401(k), Parental Leave, Life and Disability Insurance and more.
