Healthcare Quality Improvement Specialist (New Mexico)

Position Purpose Plans, facilitates, identifies, develops, promotes, and implements projects and ensures required deadlines and deliverables are met. Essential Responsibilities Develop and maintain cooperative working relationships with providers, corporations, and stakeholders supporting the health care industry. Oversee the development, planning, creation, implementation, analysis, monitoring, and distribution of reports, logs, documents, databases, and/or software within required timeframes and deadlines. Oversee planning, facilitation, consultation, implementation, support, and monitoring of activities needed to meet project deliverables, including identifying issues, developing solutions, and continuously improving quality, processes, and efficiency. Oversee the development, implementation, evaluation, updates, distribution, and maintenance of presentations, guides, procedure documents, and education materials. Oversee planning, organization, presentation, participation, and conduct of meetings, trainings, seminars, events, and related activities. Document, research, gather, interpret, analyze, advise, and ensure accuracy of data. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration or a related discipline, or registered nurse (RN). License, certification, or training (Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) preferred). 3–5 years of relevant healthcare or project management experience, or up to 2 years of experience may be substituted by a graduate or professional degree. 2–3 years of process improvement, quality improvement, quality assurance, or related experience.
