Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced and safety-conscious Saw Operator to join our team in Tulsa, OK . This position is responsible for operating band saw equipment and overhead cranes to cut and move metal materials while maintaining accuracy, quality, and production efficiency.

The ideal Saw Operator has previous experience with industrial cutting equipment, overhead cranes, and material handling in a manufacturing environment.

Required Experience & Skills
• Previous experience operating a band saw in a manufacturing or industrial environment required
• Overhead crane experience REQUIRED
• Ability to accurately read a tape measure and follow detailed work instructions
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
• Ability to lift, move, and handle heavy materials regularly
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic REQUIRED
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
• Operate band saw equipment to cut materials according to work orders and specifications
• Safely operate overhead cranes to move and stage materials throughout the facility
• Read and interpret work orders, measurements, and production documents
• Inspect raw materials and finished cuts for quality and accuracy
• Verify dimensions using tape measures and measuring tools
• Maintain production schedules while ensuring quality standards are met
• Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of hazards
• Follow all company safety procedures and operating guidelines
• Assist with general production and material handling duties as needed

Preferred Qualifications
• Experience working with metal fabrication or structural steel materials
• Forklift experience
• Manufacturing or industrial production background
• Familiarity with shop safety procedures and material handling equipment

Physical Requirements
• Ability to lift, carry, and move heavy materials throughout the shift
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform repetitive physical tasks
• Ability to safely operate overhead cranes and industrial equipment
• Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment for extended periods

Work Environment
• Industrial manufacturing facility
• Exposure to machinery, steel materials, overhead cranes, and production equipment
• Fast-paced environment requiring constant attention to safety and accuracy
• PPE required while working on the production floor
