Director of Accounting

Unity Search has partnered with a leading, North Dallas company in their search for an Accounting Director. This is a highly visible role, with daily exposure to the CFO, VP Global Controller and within the organization cross-departmentally. The role will include several special projects, external audit management/compliance, technical accounting, and other accounting duties. The Director of Corporate Accounting leads the company’s general accounting operations and is responsible for the execution and oversight of general accounting, month-end close, balance sheet integrity, accounts payable, treasury support, technical accounting, corporate reporting, and accounting compliance. As a hands-on leader, this role actively participates in key accounting activities while providing leadership and development to the Corporate Accounting team. The Director partners with Finance leadership, IT, and external auditors, to ensure accurate financial reporting, a strong control environment, process improvements, system enhancements, and AI solutions to automate workflows and scale the accounting function in a growing, multi-entity environment.
