Senior Payroll Accountant

Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of Newark is currently seeking a Full Time Senior Payroll Accountant. Job Duties: * Provides support to the payroll department and ensures the timely and accurate processing of payroll records by compiling, organizing, and entering data into the Agency Employee Information System. * Responsible for the overall financial activities and a function of a major not-for-profit social service organization includes analytical review of general ledger accounts and preparation of financial statements in accordance with corporate policies and generally accepted accounting principles. Job Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in accounting or related field.
• 1-3 years experience in a payroll, accounting or finance field preferred.
• Must have experience filing and processing Federal & State payroll tax

returns.
