End Date/Duration: Ongoing

Shift: 3x24-hour night shifts (5 PM 7 AM)

Hours/week: 36 hours

Employment Type: Contract, W-2

License/Certs: PA license, DEA, acute care certification not required

Experience: Minimum 3 years of relevant experience

Hourly Rate: $886.86

What You'll Do

• Support urgent cardiothoracic surgeries, including vein harvesting procedures
• Assist on-call for emergent cases, providing backup for surgeons after consults
• Collaborate with the surgical team and staff to ensure smooth perioperative care
• Participate in patient management from ICU to recovery, supporting patient care in a 163-bed hospital
• Contribute to high-acuity cases for adult patient populations (18+)
• Document procedures and patient information accurately using EPIC EMR
• Support surgical procedures from cath lab to surgery, ensuring patient stability before transfer

What You Need

• Required: Pennsylvania Physician Assistant license, DEA certification, minimum of 3 years of relevant surgical or cardiothoracic PA experience
• Preferred: Ability to work night shifts, strong communication and teamwork skills, experience with vein harvesting procedures
