About the Role

The Company is seeking an SVP of Manufacturing and Supply to play a pivotal role in the development of curative living medicines for inflammatory and autoimmune diseases. The successful candidate will be responsible for building and leading the manufacturing and supply chain function, with a focus on partnering with external providers and internalizing capabilities to advance the company's pipeline. This includes evaluating, sourcing, and managing a network of contract manufacturers, cell collection centers, and development organizations. The role also involves leading the organization in providing and managing clinical supply, materials, and strategic sourcing for the company's cell therapies. The ideal candidate will have a degree in a relevant field, at least 15 years' experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing, and a proven track record in leadership, particularly in the area of cell therapy manufacturing and supply chain management. Applicants for the SVP of Manufacturing and Supply position at the company should have a degree in biochemistry, chemical engineering, biotechnology, or a related field, with a minimum of 15 years' experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing, technology transfer, or process development. A strong background in cGMP manufacturing and regulatory requirements for biopharmaceutical products and ATMPs is essential. The role requires the ability to manage multiple complex relationships, design and build manufacturing and supply functions, and lead high-performing teams. The candidate must be adept at critical thinking, problem-solving, and have excellent communication skills. Experience in managing manufacturing and supply operations for clinical trial products, particularly in the field of cell therapies, is a key requirement.
