Nurse Practitioner (NP) – Primary Care Location: Galveston, TX Assignment: Locum Tenens Schedule: 4-day work week | Day shift | No weekends A Great Locum Opportunity in Galveston Our client is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner to provide comprehensive primary care in a structured clinical environment in Galveston, Texas. This opportunity is ideal for a provider who values work-life balance, enjoys delivering quality patient care, and is comfortable managing a broad range of acute and chronic medical needs. You'll work alongside an experienced healthcare team while providing evaluations, treatment, education, and ongoing care management. Key Responsibilities Perform comprehensive patient assessments and physical examinations Evaluate, diagnose, and treat acute and chronic conditions Provide same-day patient evaluations and sick-call coverage Develop and monitor individualized treatment plans Provide medication, disease-management, and preventive-care education Maintain accurate clinical documentation in NextGen EMR Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other members of the care team Support continuity of care and positive patient outcomes Schedule 4 days per week Day shift No weekends Standard holiday schedule Consistent, structured clinical environment Travel Support A travel stipend may be available for providers traveling more than 50 miles from their primary residence. Qualifications Master's degree or higher Active Nurse Practitioner license/certification FNP, AGNP, or NP certification 1+ year of Primary Care experience 1+ year of Care Management experience 1+ year of experience in a qualifying healthcare setting Valid DEA certification/license Current BLS or ACLS certification through an accepted provider Why This Opportunity?
