Respiratory TherapistThe Staff Pad has partnered with a reputed hospital in Hamilton, TX to hire a skilled and dependable Respiratory Therapist to join their Respiratory Care team. In this role you will provide high-quality respiratory care under the supervision of a physician and the Director of Respiratory by administering prescribed cardiopulmonary treatments, performing diagnostic procedures, and supporting the maintenance and safety of respiratory therapy equipment. Schedule: PRNWhat You'll Do Key Responsibilities:Perform respiratory therapy treatments under physician directionConduct pulmonary function testing & administer gas, aerosol, and IPPB therapiesPerform arterial blood gas collection and analysisMaintain airways, assist with secretion removal and manage & monitor patients on ventilatorsPerform ECGs and support result interpretationAssess patient needs and provide age-appropriate respiratory care per departmental policyMaintain, sterilize, and prepare respiratory equipment for patient careMaintain accurate clinical documentation, charges, and departmental recordsMaintain confidentiality, patient service, and infection control and safety standardsWhat We Are Looking For Qualifications:Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Therapy programCurrent Texas CRT or RRT license and CPR certificationKnowledge of cardiopulmonary equipmentStrong verbal and written communication skillsOne year of respiratory therapy experience preferredPhysical Requirements:Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach throughout the workdayAbility to lift up to 25 pounds, move equipment, and assist patients as neededWhat You Can Expect Benefits:Paid Time Off & HolidaysHealth & Supplemental InsuranceDirect Deposit & Education ReimbursementFitness Center MembershipRetirement PlanIf you are passionate about delivering exceptional respiratory care and making a difference in patients' lives, we encourage you to apply today and join the Respiratory Care team.
