Accountant

Dexian is partnering with a client that is looking for an Accountant or Full Charge Bookkeeper with experience in the non profit sector and experience in a "firm" or outsourced setting.Please read the information in this job post thoroughly to understand exactly what is expected of potential candidates.We are seeking a detail-oriented Accountant or Full-Charge Bookkeeper to manage end-to-end accounting functions for a small firm that supports a diverse portfolio of clients. This role requires a hands-on professional who can handle multiple sets of books, ensure accuracy across all financial records, and deliver timely reporting. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy working with different businesses, this position offers variety and autonomy.Key ResponsibilitiesManage full-cycle bookkeeping for multiple clients, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll.Perform monthly bank and credit card reconciliations for all client accounts.Prepare and post journal entries, maintain general ledgers, and ensure accurate financial records.Generate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for clients.Oversee client billing and collections processes.Handle sales tax filings, 1099 preparation, and other compliance requirements.REQUIRED:Proven experience as a Full-Charge Bookkeeper or similar role (3+ years preferred).Full time work scheduleStrong knowledge of GAAP and bookkeeping principles.Outsourced accounting firm experience highly preferredProficiency in QuickBooks (Online) and Microsoft Excel.Experience managing multiple client accounts simultaneously.Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.Ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members.Familiarity with payroll processingOpportunity to work with diverse industries and grow professionallyReady to join a team that values accuracy, client service, and efficiency?Dexian is a leading provider of staffing, IT, and workforce solutions with over 12,000 employees and 70 locations worldwide.
