About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse - Emergency Department Profession: RN Specialty: Emergency Department Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 09:00 - 21:00 Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years of ED experience License: Registered Nurse License Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIHSS Must-Have: Minimum 2 years of ED experience Description: ASAP start needed. The facility has 294 beds and is Joint Commission Accredited. Services include cancer care, cardiac care, orthopedics, imaging, surgical services, and more. The location is 45 miles east of a major city and 2 hours from the coast. Nearby universities are within an hour's drive. There is a 15-minute drive to a local lake. The facility is home to a historic stadium. Experience with specific electronic health records is preferred. The Emergency Department has 26 beds. Patient ratios are flexible depending on acuity. Common diagnoses include respiratory distress, overdose, congestive heart failure, dialysis, and hypertension. Candidates must be team players with an engaged and positive attitude. An Associate Degree in Nursing is required. The dress code is any color scrubs. This position is a replacement for permanent staff.
