Registered Nurse - Labor & Delivery Moses Lake, WA Specialty: Labor & Delivery Position Type: Travel Contract Length: 13 weeks Pay: $2404 - $2897 | Shift: Nights Are you a dedicated Labor & Delivery nurse seeking your next rewarding opportunity? As a Registered Nurse in the Labor & Delivery unit, you will play a crucial role in both caregiving and care management. You will be responsible for implementing the Nursing Process and overseeing the work of other caregivers to ensure optimal patient care outcomes. Your ability to make sound decisions and provide exceptional care will be vital in this role.
- Perform comprehensive assessments focusing on physiological, psychosocial, and cognitive status
- Implement care plans with consistency and adherence to established procedures and policies
- Identify and address patient and family learning needs and provide education as necessary
- Document patient information accurately in electronic medical records
- Delegate and supervise patient care activities effectively
- Maintain professional growth through continuous learning and development
- Ensure compliance with safety and organizational policies
- May function as a Charge Nurse, coordinating patient assignments and staff coverage
- Need 1 year experience in setting
- Current Washington State RN Licensure
- BLS certification required within 30 days of hire
- Advanced certifications such as NRP, ACLS, and AWHONN's Intermediate Fetal Monitoring required within specified timeframes
