Job Family:Operational Effectiveness ConsultingTravel Required:NoneClearance Required:Active SecretWhat You Will Do:Provide direct support to senior advisors within the U.S. government.Analyze and interpret defense trade issues, requirements, and regulatory impacts.Apply knowledge of ITAR and related federal regulations governing defense trade.Support congressional reporting needs through data analysis and Excel-based products.Prepare clear, concise written materials for internal and external stakeholders.Engage with counterparts across the U.S. government to gather information, coordinate actions, and support decision-making.What You Will Need:An ACTIVE and MAINTAINED "SECRET" Federal or DoD security clearance.Bachelor's degreeMinimum THREE (3) years of experience in relevant disciplines and fields, preferably in a national security settingStrong understanding of defense trade concepts and regulatory frameworks, including ITAR.Proficiency with data analysis and Excel.Ability to be on-site in Washington, DC full‑time.What Would Be Nice To Have:Intellectual curiosity and eagerness to learn the nuances of defense trade operations.Experience supporting senior U.S. government advisors or similar stakeholders.Familiarity with interagency coordination across federal departments.Excellent writing and communication skills.Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively.The annual salary range for this position is $98,000.00-$163,000.00.
