Substitute Teacher

Summary We are seeking dedicated and flexible individuals to fill the role of a Substitute Teacher. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing quality education and maintaining a positive learning environment in the absence of the regular classroom teacher. This position requires adaptability, strong communication skills, and a passion for fostering student development. Responsibilities Implement lesson plans as directed by the regular teacher to ensure continuity of instruction. Manage classroom behavior and maintain a safe and productive learning environment. Provide support and assistance to students, addressing their individual needs as necessary. Communicate effectively with students, staff, and parents regarding classroom activities and student progress. Follow school policies and procedures, including attendance and grading protocols. Supervise students during lunch, recess, and other activities as required.Engage students in learning activities to keep them focused and motivated. Report any issues or concerns to the appropriate school personnel. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field preferred; relevant experience may be considered. Valid teaching certification or substitute teaching permit as required by the state. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to adapt to different classroom environments and student needs.Patience, creativity, and a passion for working with children. Previous experience in a classroom setting is a plus.
