We are currently looking for a Shipping Coordinator
Monday - Friday 7:00 am – 3:30pm (Saturday as needed)
$20.00 per hour
DESCRIPTION & RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Proficient in using UPS Worldship and Quickbooks
• Prepare all paperwork for outbound shipments including BOL’s (Bill of Lading), packing lists and labels
• Process all paperwork and information for inbound deliveries, including entering all specifications for product received
• Print and distribute documents necessary for workflow within the warehouse
• Work with freight carriers to schedule dock appointments and missed appointments
• Enter all service fees associated with warehouse processing
• Communicate with inner company personnel, like warehouse management, customer service, logistics and remote warehouses to answer questions and solve problems
• Additional responsibilities, duties, & cross-training as assigned
EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION:
• Experience as a Shipping Coordinator or similar role in a warehouse or distribution environment preferred
• Effective communication skills for collaboration with team members and customers
• Experience with Excel and Outlook preferred
• Basic math skills
• Time management, attention to detail and organizational skills
