CNC Setup Operator, Prototype and Short‑Run Manufacturing

What you will do

• Operate CNC machines to deliver precision parts that meet drawings and specifications.
• Set up and calibrate machines to achieve optimal performance and repeatability.
• Monitor runs, verify accuracy, and hit production requirements.
• Conduct routine maintenance and address basic operational issues.
• Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work instructions.
• Measure and inspect using precision tools; apply basic math to validate dimensions.
• Safely use hand tools, panel saws, and other production equipment.
• Fabricate parts and simple fixtures across multiple materials.
• Package finished components for shipment or storage.
• Work closely with engineers and production staff to maintain efficient workflows.
• Keep your area clean, organized, and safe; follow all safety policies.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum qualifications

• Candidates should possess one or more of the following:
• Previous CNC Operator or related manufacturing experience
• Mechanical aptitude with the ability to read blueprints and technical drawings
• Experience fabricating parts using a variety of materials
• Ability to safely operate hand tools and production equipment
• Basic mathematical skills for measurements and machining calculations
• Equivalent combination of manufacturing experience and technical training

When and how you’ll work

Schedule: Monday – Friday

Pay: $18.50–20.00+ per hour, based on experience
